Vanderpump Rules have released Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute and two other cast members after racially insensitive comments from their past resurfaced.
In a statement, Bravo announced the fate of the cast members, saying:
"Bravo and Evolution Media confirmed today that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni will not be returning to Vanderpump Rules."
Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni were new cast members on the show whose past racist tweets were uncovered earlier in the year.
The quadruple firing came less than a day after Schroeder was dropped by her PR firm and other representation for making racist comments. Schroeder reportedly also lost out on several sponsorships due to her past incidents.
In an IG Live Candace Renee Rice of Floribama Shore, Vanderpump alum Faith Stowers explains an incident where Schroeder called the cops on her, saying:
"There was this article on Daily Mail where there was an African American lady. I guess this woman was robbing people. And they called the cops and said it was me. This is like, a true story. I heard this from Stassi during an interview. It was just funny because they thought it was me because it was a black woman with a weave. So they just assumed it would be me, and they called the cops on me."
Both Stassi and Duote issued apologies on their Instagram accounts.
