Emmy-winner Uzo Aduba is ready for her next challenge.
Three days before the college football national championship game, two star players announced they wouldn't compete unless all student-athletes are compensated.
This true story is the premise behind the new movie National Champions, starring Uzo Aduba.
"I play a fixer... a no-nonsense woman who's been given the thankless job of trying to bring conflict and resolution here off the field so that these players can get back on the field," Aduba said.
Beyond her role in the new film, Aduba also opened up on her Critics Choice Award nominated for her role on the HBO series In Treatment.
"I am tongue tied, it's very humbling. I feel grateful for the nomination, especially with that esteemed group of artists and talent," Aduba said.
National Champions is out now.
