Golden Globe Award winner Uma Thurman stars in Apple TV+ series Suspicion.
The eight-episode series takes place in New York City and sees Thurman play a businesswoman whose son is abducted in a hotel. The U.K.'s National Crime Agency and FBI seek to investigate four possible perpetrators, all of whom are British civilians and were at the scene of the kidnapping. As they try to prove innocence, suspicion will creep over them, and only time will tell who can be trusted.
The trailer evokes all types of feels. Thurman losing her only child makes the audience empathize with what it's like losing a kid. The suspenseful but intense trailer leaves viewers wanting more.
Executive producer Rob Williams based this show off of Israeli drama False Flag. Thurman, with Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill under her belt, will undoubtedly give us exactly what we're hoping for. Not to mention, she also has a great supporting cast-- Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Elizabeth Henstridge, The Big Bang Theory's Kunal Nayyar, Black Mirror's Georgina Campbell, and The Americans' Noah Emmerich.
The show has been set to release on the streaming platform Feb. 4, 2022, where the first two episodes will debut that Friday.
