Singer and songwriter Tori Kelly did not let her time during quarantine go to waste! The star self-recorded her EP Solitude all in the comfort of her home.
Solitude is Kelly's first EP in seven years since the release of Foreword. According to a press statement, Solitude can be described as:
"a fresh musical outlook inspired by both the 90s R&B that she grew up with and her early days as an aspiring singer-songwriter."
Solitude gives way for fans and listeners to seek comfort in the pain and dig deeper within themselves. The EP has 5 tracks and gets better by the song. Fans should get even more excited because Kelly announced in a press statement that she will be performing the entire EP on August 19th on the virtual reality platform MelodyVR. In the statement, Kelly shared:
"I can't wait to perform Solitude for you all from the MelodyVR studio, Live from LA. I recorded these new songs in my home studio during quarantine, so it's extra special to be able to perform them live for the first time in such an intimate setting — it's just you, me and my guitar."
Be sure to take a listen to Solitude out now!
