Thick House is taking the America's Next Top Model formula and applying it to plus sized women!
Make no mistake, this is a serious competition and the stakes are high for the seven ladies competing for the chance to earn the opportunity to make a name for themselves in the world of high fashion.
The show is hosted by fashion model, singer and actress, Toccara Jones, who launched her very successful career after her appearance on America's Next Top Model. She also serves as one of the judges along with fashionista and lifestyle expert Kelly Augustine and celebrity stylist EJ King.
"Every time we get a chance to see someone who looks like us on TV, it's always a win, so to have a show that's going to hit you with a house full of women that look like you is just like... groundbreaking and I'm just so happy that we're a part of this," Jones said.
Advocates against body shaming and champions of a healthy lifestyle and body image for real women such as supermodel Ashley Graham and recording stars Lizzo and Demi Lovato have come out and encouraged women to embrace their curves.
"This is the real representation that we needed for plus-sized models. This is what plus-sized modeling is all about," Kelly Augustine said.
"Beauty is beauty. Beauty is who you are. Beauty is the confidence that you have when you step into a room," EJ King said.
