As a die-hard, West Wing fan, who's watched every episode probably 100 times, seeing this trailer of this cast back together is overwhelming. Throw in W.G. Snuffy Walden's iconic score and I have teardrops on my keyboard. Happy tears, but tears none-the-less...
The West Wing Reunion on HBO Max (October 15th)
With all do respect to Rachel and Ross and the gang...while the Friends reunion is on hold, I'm elated to see my beloved West Wing cast back together for this long-awaited reunion on HBO Max. What a brilliant concept they came up with. The cast is reunited in a theater, doing a live (without an audience) re-creation of a classic episode.
Martin Sheen is back as the president along with Rob Lowe, Allison Janney and the whole gang. They are staging the episode called: Hartsfield's Landing which is about the New Hampshire primary day in President Bartlet's re-election campaign.
The only cast member missing, is the late John Spencer. So, filling in as White House chief-of-staff, is the great Sterling K. Brown.
All of this is happening, as a way for the cast to encourage everyone to vote and to support the organization: When We All Vote
So don't forget to vote on November 3rd and to watch the reunion October 15th.
