J-Lo shares her favorite line from the film!

Our favorite movie couple has (virtually) reunited to discuss all things The Wedding Planner, in honor of the film's 20th anniversary.

On Tuesday, Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey reunited on Instagram Live to reminisce over their hit rom-com film The Wedding Planner, which premiered 20 years ago.

Lopez said:

"It still feels like just yesterday we were in the middle of that field with the movie theater...Do you remember doing that scene where you were about to kiss me? And I remember you said to me, I don't know if you remember this, you said, 'Miss Lopez, I'm going to kiss you now.' And I said, 'OK, let's do it. Let's hit it.'"

The film proves to be one of the top romcoms of all time, grossing over 94 million dollars worldwide.

McConaughey said:

"That was kind of the end of a lot of the rom coms... there weren't a lot of successful romcoms after that...The romcom hardly gets made anymore."

The Wedding Planner follows Mary, played by Lopez, who is rescued by Steve, played by McConaughey, from a near-fatal collision with a dumpster. Mary thinks she might have found the "one," but soon realizes Steve is more than she hoped for, including her new client for a wedding she's planning.

"The scene where the dumpster comes at me, and you rescue me from the dumpster, one of my favorite lines in the whole thing one of the reasons why I loved that script was 'you smell like grilled cheese and plums,' I think I said...which to me is probably one of the best smells in the world."

McConaughey shared that filming that scene wasn't exactly smooth sailing.

He said:

"I remember you hurt your ankle, right? You were like doing your own stunts... A lot of people wouldn't have done that. I think that was the first day when I was like 'Oh yeah. J-Lo breaks a sweat, meaning you love to do the work."

Lopez seemed equally impressed by McConaughey, sharing that she "so enjoyed" working with him.

She said:

"We had such a nice rapport and chemistry. We were somewhat at the beginning of our careers at that time. It was exciting to be working on any movie. I still feel that way. It was a magical time. I'm such a romantic, too, that working on those types of movies have a real feel for me."
