Tom Parker from The Wanted has sadly died at 33 years old, following his ongoing brain cancer battle.
Parker's wife, Kelsey Hardwick, shared the devastating on Instagram, writing:
"It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all of his family by his side. Our hearts are broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence."
Parker and Hardwick shared two children; Aurelia, 2, and Bodhi, 1.
The pop star was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in September 2020 after suffering a seizure. He had recently spent time in Spain receiving treatment.
The dad-of-two previously told OK! Magazine how his diagnosis didn't feel real, explaining,
"I knew something wasn't right, but I never expected it to be this. You never think this will happen to you."
Recently, Parker had become so weak he needed to use a wheelchair.
He regularly shared health updates with fans on social media after being diagnosed with stage four glioblastoma two years ago.
Parker was hailed a "true hero" for managing to join his bandmates on stage throughout the tour. He only missed a couple of dates at the start of the tour while undergoing treatment but soon after, joined for the remaining dates.
Parker announced last week that he had been writing a tell-all memoir called "Hope,'" which will be released in July.
"My book, coming this July, is not about dying: It's a book about living. It's a book about finding hope in whatever situation you've dealt with and living your best life no matter what," he wrote alongside the announcement.
"It will show you how having faith in hope and daring to dream means you can carry on, against all odds."
