The CBS daytime show "The Talk" confirmed on Sunday that there will be a 12th season after the controversial exit of original co-host Sharon Osbourne.

The show which first aired in October 2010, now consists of co-anchors Amanda Kloots, Elaine Welteroth, Carrie Ann Inaba and Sheryl Underwood. The show has seen many hosts come and go over the years, including "King of Queens" star Leah Remini.

Osbourne departed from the show on March 26, after coming to her long time pal former co-host of "Good Morning Britain" Piers Morgan's defense, who accused Duchess of Essex Meghan Markle of fabricating her racism claims within her royal family in a tell-all interview sit down with Oprah Winfrey. Many viewers deemed Morgan's comment as racist, and Underwood accused Osbourne of supporting a racist friend.

After Osbourne's remarks, CBS stopped the show for a few days announcing this statement,

"The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home,As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon's behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace. We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts.

The show took to Twitter to release the news, mentioning no replacement for Osbourne's spot.

Many fans were disappointed on Twitter, many threatening to no longer watch the talk show without Osbourne. There has been no set release date yet for the show.
