Crews wrote a five-part thread as he sought to make amends after he denied seeing racism on the set of the NBC talent show. With the Black Lives Matter Movement currently happening, Crews has been retracting the harmful statements he made back in January on the Today show where he said:
""I can speak on behalf of any racism comments — that was never my experience on America's Got Talent. In fact, it was the most diverse place I have ever been in my 20 years of entertainment.""
Union Files A Complaint
Union filed a harassment complaint Thursday in the state of California against the producers of AGT and NBC. Union has also accused NBC Entertainment's chairmen Paul Telegdy of trying to silence her reports of racism on set.
AGT continues to air Tuesdays on NBC.
