Ahead of the Emmys at 8/7c, the Television and the award show's nominees are pledging major dollars to No Kid Hungry, an organization devoted to ending childhood hunger in the United States.
This year's Emmys will look a bit different this year amid the coronavirus pandemic, and the Television Academy is stepping up in the fight to end childhood hunger. ABC tells us that "all nominated broadcast and streaming partners have committed to donating over $100,000 per Emmy win." In addition to this, the Television Academy will make their own pledge of $500,000 in support of No Kid Hungry. In total, tonight's award show will garner $2.8 million to No Kid Hungry's work to ensure that kids are fed, both during this crisis and throughout its aftermath.
