The Colosseum at Caesars Palace may be 'the house that Celine Dion' built, but now it belongs to Sting! The rock icon opened his highly anticipated My Songs residency and he was nothing short of brilliant!
He walked out on stage, alone, dressed in yellow and black (as he said: "like a bee") and promptly opened with his classic song: Roxanne. And that was only the beginning!
Sting and his band played all his biggest songs! He hilariously shared that when he announced his Vegas residency, he was advised to "only play the hits". His response: "I only have hits"!
The visuals on the screens around him were gorgeous. His voice was stronger and more distinct than ever. And man does he make 70 look good!
His next batch of Vegas shows are set for June. Until then, we'll have a new album to tide us over. "The Bridge" drops November 19th.
