'Spider-Man: No Way Home' keeps climbing up the box office. Aside from now being the 12th highest-grossing film in history at the worldwide box office, it is also now the 10th highest-grossing release in history at the domestic box office overall. Domestically, it passed $600 Million, and with currently $1.37 billion worldwide, it is also the first film to break $1 billion at the box office since 2019. The film is expected to pass 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' ($1.402B), 'Frozen II' ($1.45B), 'Furious 7' ($1.515B), and 'The Avengers' ($1.518B). It is currently pending its eventual release in China, which may launch the film into the top 10 worldwide.
The film is a massive success considering the recent rise in Omicron variant cases. It has now become SONY's biggest film in company history. Some of the success can be attributed to being exclusively in theaters.
