'I Love a Mama's Boy' is about to hit TLC, and our Ricky Cornish caught up with a few of the show's stars!

The new series follows various relationships, in which the women feel threatened by the men's mothers. It begs the question- how close is too close?

Here's what they said:

Emily and Shekeb are just one of the couples, and they joined us earlier this week. Shekeb shared that his relationships with his girlfriend and mother have been difficult to balance.

Shekeb said:

"It's a push and pull kind of lifestyle. I'm trying to balance out time with my mom and my time with Emily… It's like where do I fit in? It's a lot of stress and sometimes I'll lash out, mainly to Emily."

But sharing Shekeb has been an adjustment for Emily, too. Emily said:

"I always feel like I'm never prioritized in his life. In my eyes, I want to be number 1 and his only number 1, but I feel like I'm always number 2."
