According to ABC News, the olympian scored a 14.00 putting her in third place behind Team China competitors Guan Chenchen and Tang Xijing.
And following her win, Biles spoke to IOC President Thomas Bach and said:
"We're not just entertainment, we're humans. And there are things going on behind the scenes that we're also trying to juggle with as well, on top of sports."

According to NBC News, Biles exited the competition a week ago for mental health reasons.
Via Instagram last week, the athlete explained:
"For anyone saying I quit, I didn't quit, my mind and body are simply not in sync as you can see here. I don't think you realize how dangerous this is on hard/competition surface. Nor do I have to explain why I put health first. Physical health is mental health."Biles received an outpouring of love and support from fellow athletes, celebrities, and fellow teammates following her
exit. With stars like Tom Brady, Lily Collins, and G-Eazy among the flood of supporters in her Instagram comments.
As of now, the United States has earned 73 total medals in the Tokyo Olympics.
