This puppy is so cute that you'll want to go and get your own. Shawn Mendes announced their new furry addition named Tarzan on Tuesday, November 3rd. The post even graced us with two videos of the furry baby in action - and he's even cuter in video than in picture!

Getting a dog in a relationship is not easy - and this is a huge step for the them. The couple has been a dynamic duo ever since their summer song 'Señorita' hit the charts. But how did they get there and what has happened since then?

2015

It all started when Shawn and Camila wrote their song, 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' in 2015. According to an interview with Rolling Stone, the two had randomly written in backstage for fun. Many fans speculated that this was a sign they were dating, but nothing was confirmed.

2017

The two continued showing their support of their music careers through social media, like tweet above - but nothing was ever really confirmed if they were ever more than friends.

2018

In April of 2018, Camila posted a picture of Shawn and her after she went to one of his shows. The caption says, 'real friends,' but is it more?? Is it less? We have no clue at this point.

2019

Then, all of a sudden, boom. 'Señorita' came out - and there was no denying that something was happening between the two of them. The lyrics of their song even said, "You say we're just friends/But friends don't know the way you taste."

In September of 2019, Shawn and Camila posted a funny video commenting about how fans say that they kiss like a fish. If this video alone doesn't confirm that they're dating, I don't know what would.

However, Camila did tell Ellen this in an interview:

"People can say whatever they want to say. They can speculate, but at the same time, we are going to live our own lives, enjoy it, and fall for each other like nobody is watching. That is how I want to live. I never want to open the door for people to feel like they are involved. Like I said, I want it to be mine and [his]. That's why I'm so tight-lipped about it: because I want to protect it."

2020

The couple did quarantine together during the beginning of the pandemic earlier this year.

Most recently, the two celebrated Halloween together. Shawn Mendes was himself.... but beat up to make for a scarier look, and Camila was a witch.

Now the two are celebrating their love by adding a new furry addition, and we couldn't be happier for them (and Tarzan).
