The relationship between Sharon Osbourne and The Talk seems to be completely over.
Osbourne joined The Talk in 2010, serving as a co-host until her controversial exit in 2021.
Her departure followed Osbourne coming under fire for defending her friend Piers Morgan, who'd similarly been facing backlash for comments he'd made about Meghan Markle.
Let's fast forward to a similar situation that recently happened with Whoopi Goldberg and The View. Goldberg had remarked that the holocaust was "not about race," prompting an outcry from viewers on the program. Though she apologized on social media and on-air, the show's longtime host was also suspended for two weeks.
That might have some of Osbourne's fans feeling that her firing was unfair in comparison and that maybe it would be possible for her to be brought back to The Talk.
Osbourne, while grocery shopping with husband Ozzy, told a reporter she didn't think Goldberg's suspension by ABC was any reason for Osbourne to get her old gig back.
"No, I would never go back to that show again, ever," she told TMZ. "'Cause CBS sucks. Big-time d***." "It is what it is," adding, "It's not like I need the job, f*** no!"
Osbourne has moved on from the show, and things should stay that way, given how it all played out. She has made it clear that she does not want to return, and despite the calls from the fans, it seems it is not going to sway her decision.
