Sharon Osbourne Officially Exits 'The Talk'

It's official. After 11 seasons, Osbourne is saying goodbye to CBS' #TheTalk.

CBS announced Friday that their hit daytime show The Talk would be parting ways with longtime co-host Sharon Osbourne, following a controversial debate.

The news comes two weeks after Osbourne and fellow co-host Sheryl Underwood had a heated discussion about Piers Morgan's stance on the Megan Markle-Prince Harry interview. The discussion quickly became a conversation about race and took a dramatic turn from there.

On Friday, CBS released a statement which read:

"The events of the March 10th broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home. As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon's behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10th episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace. We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts."

Following the March 10th episode, former "Talk" co-host Leah Remini spoke out about Osbourne, in addition to other unnamed sources, accusing her of using racist and homophobic language toward her colleagues.

Osbourne took to Twitter on March 12th to respond to her behavior on the broadcast, saying:

"I hope we can collectively continue to learn from each other & from ourselves so we can all continue to pave the way for much needed growth and change."
