Selma Blair was just granted a restraining order against her ex, Ron Carlson, after he allegedly attacked her late February in her home.

The order requires that Carlson stay at least one hundred yards away from Blair and her ten year old son.

She states via the documents,

"I am in significant fear for my own safety and the safety of my young son who resides with me."

Blair recounts that she was assaulted by Carlson when he stopped by her home to return a television and keys. He verbally accosted her, and turned violent when she responded. She says that while beating her, he repeatedly threatened to kill her.

After Carlson left the house, Blair and her assistant documented her injuries before calling the police. According to Blair, the officers took photos of "one photo from her full face, three photos from the red marks around her neck and under her chin, and three photos from the red marks on her left and right hand."

She was then brought to the hospital to be treated for a severely bloodied nose and head injuries. Carlson was arrested in his home shortly after, and denies any claims that he was physical with Blair. He and his attorney have yet to make another statement.

Carlson and Blair were together from 2013 to 2016, and got back together in 2019. Blair says they had parted ways again shortly following this recent incident. She claims Carlson is in possession of an unregistered, loaded firearm, which adds to her fears.

The restraining order lasts until the hearing on March 22.
