America's Big Deal is the latest reality show to hit the screen this year, providing amateur entrepreneurs an opportunity to achieve their dreams.
Our Hollywood Insider, Arthur Kade, caught up with Scott Evans, who serves as one of the co-hosts for why America's Big Deal.
"There is a big deal made every single night. It's not like we're leading up to the moment that happens, it's every night! Every Thursday night on USA Network, America gets to participate, they get to buy in, literally," Evans said.
For the new reality series, Evans gets to host alongside the iconic inventor and entrepreneur, Joy Mangano. Mangano's story is one many Americans have come to know, mainly from Jennifer Lawrence's role in the film based off of her success, Joy.
"I'm going to say that she is everything you'd hope she'd be. She is kind, she is thoughtful, she is not only professional, but she has a way of leaning into these individuals, these entrepreneurs, so she knows what is at stake for these people in a way that a lot of people just can't relate," Evans said.
America's Big Deal airs Thursdays on USA.
Scott Evans will also expand his existing NBCUniversal relationship with an overall talent and development deal with the network.
Besides his current co-hosting roles for NBC's Access Daily and Access Hollywood, Evans will receive a first-look deal for projects under the NBCUniversal family, including Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SyFy, Universal Kids, USA and Peacock.
Congratulations Scott!
