Ellen Degeneres has a way of coaxing surprising revelations out of her celebrity guests, and she was able to do just that when Ryan Reynolds, Chrissy Teigen, and Michael B. Jordan visited her show.
Ryan Reynolds, Family Man
Ryan Reynolds is promoting his PG-13 movie, Once Upon a Deadpool, which is a [reasonably] family-friendly re-telling of the events of his character's R-rated adventures.
It seems that his real-life has been similarly sanitized thanks to the influence of his children.
“I think of blinking now as tiny little breaks all day, but it’s really kinda made me a better person. I sort of miss being horrible.”
At the same time, his daughters' taste in movies has left him imagining a reverse-sanitization of their favorite movie.
“I have seen Frozen with my daughters so, so many times, and, a lot of parents don’t know this, but if you play Frozen backwards, it’s actually a shot-for-shot remake of The Exorcist.”
Chrissy Teigen's Feet
Chrissy Teigen is a beautiful and beloved personality, but she has one feature that she considers the polar opposite of those qualities -- her "horrible" feet.
“I used to have it in my Sports Illustrated contract — no feet.”
Teigen's morbid fascination with her least-favorite extremities has resulted in a very dark conversation with husband John Legend.
Ellen prompts her by stating that, if John ever has to visit a morgue to identify her body ...
“Instead of lifting up the sheet on my face, he’ll just do it the other way. He’ll be like, ‘Yup. That’s her.’”
Slide into Michael B. Jordan's DMs
Michael B. Jordan is a bonafide heartthrob after lighting up the screen in Black Panther and his Creed films. At the same time, he has maintained a close, and friendly relationship with fans.
Chrissy Teigen wondered just how close that relationship gets, and if the star ever "hooks up" via DMs.
Jordan didn't deny it, and Teigen was quick to play matchmaker between him and her assistant.
