The claims come as the tell-all interview is on the horizon

The Royal Family has launched an investigation over allegations that Meghan Markle bullied her former aide.

A claim from one of her closest advisers at Kensington Palace read that they faced "emotional cruelty" from the Duchess.

Sources report that staff members were bullied, humiliated, brought to tears, and two were reportedly driven from the workplace, as told by two senior members of the palace.

A statement from Buckingham Palace fueled the rumors of bullying with a statement that reads "We are clearly very concerned about allegations in The Times following claims made by former staff at The Duke and Duchess of Sussex." The statement continues, "The Royal household has had a Dignity at Work policy in place for a number of years and will not tolerate bullying or harassment in the workplace."

The duchess has since denied all allegations of harassment, a spokesperson of The Duchess and Prince Harry admitting that they're "saddened" by these claims. The spokesperson is calling the royal couple victims of a "calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful misinformation."

According to The Times, the complaint first arose back in October of 2018, but Prince Harry plead with him to refrain from releasing anything on the matter.

These claims have arisen just in time for the supposed explosive tell-all interview between the royal couple set to air on CBS.

A PR expert is wary of the unfortunate timing, noting that Prince Phillip's (aged 99) hospitalization compiled with the interview could place negative implications on the couple.

The interview, set to premiere this Sunday hints at the fact that the royal couple may have anticipated backlash on the horizon of their interview. Meghan accused the place of "perpetuating falsehoods" surrounding the two of them.

The Duchess has faced an outpouring of support for what she is currently facing. Her former Suits co-star, Patrick J. Adams took to Twitter, posting a thread that included a statement reading, "It's OBSCENE that the Royal Family, who's newest member is currently GROWING INSIDE OF HER, is promoting and amplifying accusations of "bullying" against a woman who herself was basically forced to flea the UK in order protect her family and her own mental health."

Famed artist Chance The Rapper also chimed in, saying "Do y'all find yourselves getting mad as HELL every time they talk sideways about the Duchess Meghan?"
