Disney+ subscribers can now watch 'Raya and The Last Dragon' at no additional cost.
The streaming platform has been releasing blockbuster hits on their Premier Access tier along with the theater release dates, but the waiting period for Disney's latest animated hit is finally up.
The Premier Access tier was first seen with the live-action 'Mulan' film in 2020 and since then we have seen many other films release on the streaming platform with an additional $29.99 fee to the monthly $7.99 charge.
Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon | Official Trailer
Disney has set their own precedent with the Premier Access tier for new exclusive movies and we can see them following the trend with their new release 'Cruella'. These films typically transition to free with the standard subscription around three months after the original release.
It will be interesting to see how other streaming platforms like HBO Max, Netflix, and Hulu will adjust as more and more platforms become exclusive streaming options for new blockbuster films.
If you did not get the opportunity to see 'Raya and The Last Dragon' on Disney+ or in theaters, you can easily stream it now along with the rest of Disney's great free catalogue.
