Princess Beatrice, who had to postpone her original wedding date in May due to the pandemic, married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in Windsor today!
The pair married this morning at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge in Windsor.
The Princess and Mozzi announced their engagement back in September of 2019 when Mozzi proposed on a holiday trip they took to Italy. The couple chose to have a quiet and small ceremony with roughly about 20 people in attendance. Of the small number of guests allowed some included Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, as well as Princess Beatrice's father, Prince Andrew. Buckingham Palace has officially released a statement in regards to the wedding. In it they shared:
"The private wedding ceremony of Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place at 11am on Friday 17 July at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor. The small ceremony was attended by the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and close family. The wedding took place in accordance with all relevant government guidelines."
We wish these two a happy and healthy marriage!
