The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, released a statement via Twitter today paying tribute to his late grandfather. Prince Phillip passed away on April 9th at the age of 99.
The statement, released on the Duke and Duchess' official account, pays tribute to the Prince's late grandfather, calling him, "an extraordinary man and part of an extraordinary generation".
Prince Phillip sadly passed away after a long health battle over the past couple months, and royals and citizens alike are paying their respects.
