Post Malone is expecting his first child with his girlfriend, who hasn't been identified publicly.
The rapper, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, announced in a statement shared with TMZ that he is ready and "excited for this new chapter" with his girlfriend.
"I'm excited for this next chapter in my life, I'm the happiest I've ever been...Time to take care of my body, my family, and friends and spread as much love as we can every day."
Sources close to Malone say the couple celebrated the baby news with a private party in Southern California last weekend with friends and family.
The baby news comes ahead of Malone's fourth studio album release, "Twelve Carat Toothache," on June 3.
"One Right Now" has been the first released single, featuring The Weeknd. The music video turned heads by portraying a shootout between the two singers.
Talking about the Twelve Carat Toothache song, Post said, "There was a switch that flipped, and it felt like I was making Stoney."
"I lost that, and the hardest part is getting it back. It ebbs and flows. It's figuring out: 'Just because I'm not inspired to do it at the moment, doesn't mean I'm giving up.'"
Most recently, the rapper took the Coachella stage in a surprise performance with 21 Savage. He also performed at last month's Revolve Festival, where he brought out Quavo as his special guest.
