The "Saturday Night Live" star will be one of six passengers headed to the edge of outer space March 23 on a ship launched by Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin.

Pete Davidson is the latest celebrity to fly to space with Jeff Bezos' rocket company.

On March 23, the "Saturday Night Live" comedian will hop aboard Jeff Bezos's next Blue Origin flight, allowing Davidson to escape the wrath of Kanye West and quite literally rise above the drama of it all.

Davidson will join a crew of esteemed boomers including Marty Allen, former CEO of party supply giant Party America; Marc Hagle, real estate mogul and president of Tricor International; Jim Kitchen, a business professor at the University of North Carolina; and Dr. George Nield, president of Commercial Space Technologies.

The actor and comedian is the latest celebrity scheduled to take a trip to the edge of space, following "Star Trek" legend William Shatner, 90, who became the oldest person to reach space in October when he took a ride on a Blue Origin flight, and NFL Hall of Famer Michael Strahan, who was part of a flight in December.

The crew will spend a few days training at Blue Origin's facilities in West Texas before the flight when they'll climb into the New Shepard crew capsule that sits atop the rocket. After liftoff, the rocket will tear past the speed of sound and, near the top of its flight path, will detach from the capsule.

As the flight reaches its apex, the passengers will experience a few minutes of weightlessness. Bezos notably spent his time in weightlessness, throwing Skittles and flipping around in the cabin. Others have been glued to the window.

The liftoff for the flight is scheduled for March 23 at 8:30 a.m. from Blue Origin's Launch Site One in West Texas and will be streamed live on Blue Origin's website.

Blue Origin's inaugural flight came in July when a pair of other passengers joined Bezos and his brother in the high-profile launch.
