Pete Davidson Is Feuding With... PETA?

Pete Davidson recently left a PETA executive an explicit voicemail, and he's "not sorry" about it.

The comedian's back-and-forth with the animal rights organization began last week, after Davidson was spotted with his girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders, picking up a puppy from a pet store in Manhattan. Daphna Nachminovitch, senior vice president of PETA's Cruelty Investigations Department, soon after chastised the actor in a statement.

"It's tragic that Pete didn’t seek out a borough-born mutt from a city animal shelter, because a scrappy New Yorker with charm, personality, and unconventional handsomeness could have been his perfect match," she told TMZ. "Since shelters in New York and across the country are overflowing with homeless animals, PETA urges Pete to show some big heart energy by adopting, not shopping, in the future."

PETA has come under fire before for missing their mark while advocating for the ethical treatment of animals. They are most infamous for campaigns likening meat consumption to slavery, and the Holocaust,.

Davidson got wind of Nachminovitch's remarks, and reportedly looked up her phone number to directly confront her on the statements -- and he didn't mince words.

"I just want to let you know I'm severely allergic to dogs, so I have to get a specific breed," he said in a recording, via ET. "I'm only not allergic to cavapoos and those type of dogs. And my mom's f**king dog, who was two years old, died a week prior, and we're all so sad, so I had to get a specific dog. So, why don't you do your research before you f**king create news stories for people because you're a boring, tired c**t. F**k you and suck my d**k."

Davidson opened up to TMZ about the voicemail Tuesday, sharing that his family's dog, Henry, had recently died. While his family was devastated from their loss, Davidson also noted that he was upset by being filmed at the pet store without his consent or awareness.

"I haven't seen my mom and sister cry like that in over 20 years. I was trying to cheer up my family," Davidson said. "I was already upset that the store had filmed me without my permission or acknowledgement. Then this organization made a public example of us, making our grieving situation worse. I am upset. It was a poor choice of words. I shouldn't have said what I said, but I am not sorry for standing up for myself and my family."
