After the longest break in his career, magician Penn Jillette is returning to the Strip for an exciting relaunch.
Jillette couldn't hide his enthusiasm now that he's returning to the Penn & Teller Theater!
"We're really excited to be back... and because we've been in the same bubble, and we're both vaccinated, we've been working together and we're doing a crazy thing. We're going on the 22nd for the first time in 13 months and we are doing six brand new tricks we've never done on stage before," Jillette said.
The magic duo bonded over quarantine and prepared new tricks during their dark period.
"We have a shop where we sit, we write, we work in each other's houses. We did a whole season of 'Fool Us' during lockdown. The Rio was closed and I was walking through a casino in my bathrobe."
Their show at the Rio is opening with reduced capacity, improved ventilation, along with masks required to keep audiences safe.
"We celebrated our 20th anniversary in lockdown. We are now the longest running headliners in the history of Las Vegas. I want to make sure that joy isn't tainted by people on our crew or people coming to see us getting sick."
Penn & Teller are back at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino Las Vegas, starting April 22nd. Tickets are on sale now!
