New Series 'Warrior Nun' Takes Over Netflix

Sylvia De Fanti Talks Female Empowerment In The Netflix Series 'Warrior Nun' | Celebrity Page

Sylvia De Fanti gives us the inside scoop on 'Warrior Nun!'

Warrior Nun is the action-packed fantasy series you need to put on your watch list. Sylvia De Fanti chats with us about her experience playing Mother Superion on the show.

The new Netflix series is taking over the global charts this summer. Warrior Nun follows a group of nuns who have superpowers and come together to battle a group of demons. With many tribulations and challenges along the way, the show portrays an epic battle of good vs evil. In an interview with Advocate Channel, Fanti shares details about co-starring in the series:

"It's more than just managing, it's really a lot of feelings and a lot of feelings that have to be contained. That is something that I really enjoyed doing because I'm not bad at all."

Fanti goes on to share how the series is also a great example of female empowerment in light of the pandemic:

"The pandemic actually emphasized some of the themes that are in the show. The bonding, the sisterhood, life-changing experiences. All these young women are there fighting for what they want, for their rights, for what they believe in. That kind of search and balance is really strong in the show."

Warrior Nun is streaming now on Netflix.
