Kanye West's Next Album -- 'Yandhi'
Having dropped his eighth studio album as recently as May, Kanye West is back at work, releasing a a snippet from his next project — Yandhi.
Originally planned for a September release, the album is now expected to drop on Black Friday.
He revealed to TMZ that the reason for the push was to record some of it in Africa.
“I felt this energy when I was in Chicago. I felt the roots. We have to go to what is known as ‘Africa’, have my kids in the studio, and have the mic in the open, so you can hear nature while we’re recording.”
Lil Wayne's New Album -- 'Tha Carter V'
Lil Wayne works at a decidedly different pace than Kanye West. His long-awaited 12th studio album The Carter V is finally here.
The rapper has a unique way of writing … which is to do no writing at all. He improvises his lyrics based on whatever comes to mind.
This poses some problems when it comes time to perform, so the artist revealed to Jimmy Fallon how he remembers the recorded lyrics.
“Your guys are so, so, so kind, and so generous. They typed up my lyrics for me, and so I’m back there studying them right now.”
