Netflix teased the Father of the Bride reunion special on Tuesday and finally gave us a release date and it is sooner than you think.
The reunion special will come to Netflix's YouTube channel and its Facebook page this Friday, September 25 at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.
Netflix announced the news on their Twitter and Instagram accounts with a teaser video. In the video they said, "25 years later, the Banks family returns for a very special event to benefit World Center Kitchen."

World Center Kitchen is a not-for-profit organization that provides food to those suffering from natural disasters and have been doing extensive COVID-19 food relief efforts.
Father of the Bride was released in 1991 starring Steve Martin, Diane Keaton and Martin Short. Netflix has not released who will participate in the reunion but in the clip they shared we can see Steve Martin's character, George Banks, email address looking at digitized photographs from his daughters wedding in the first film.
The director, Nancy Meyers, originally teased the reunion on her Instagram on September 10th. Meyers also hosted a reunion for her film The Parent Trap in July. She captioned the post, "If he thought a wedding was a lot, how would he react to 2020? Coming soon to the phone in your hand!"
