TV Personality, Derek Zagami, is set to host a new weekly talk show about what is buzzing in reality TV. RealiTea With Derek Z has been picked up to exclusively stream on digital platforms powered by NECN.

The series has already featured stars such as Bethenny Frankel, Tamar Braxton, Melissa Gorga, Chrishell Stause and many more.

Known for his energetic storytelling, Zagami has made headlines for his exclusive interviews, piping tea and reality TV appearances. RealiTea With Derek Z will feature trending topics, RealiTea experts and conversations with your favorite reality TV stars!

The TV personality opened up on the show's launch, what reality TV fans can expect, and his brush with scandal on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Q: Congratulations on your new show! What should reality fans expect while watching RealiTea With Derek Z?

Derek: I want the viewers to walk away learning something new about reality TV, and of course laugh with us and have the best time. You will get to see us interview your favorite stars and chat about what is trending in the reality world. As the show grows, I would love to start bringing fans onto the show and get their take on reality TV buzz, since most of the viewers of these shows always have the best opinions.

Q: Reality fans may recognize you from reality TV itself... what's your TV background?

I was on season season of Bravo TV's The Real Housewives of New Jersey. I worked for Melissa Gorga opening her clothing store, Envy. I got a first hand look of the behind the scenes and in front of the camera, and people always ask me... is it real? Yes it is very real, trust me. Somehow I got twirled into a huge storyline that created a lot of drama, which resulted in me appearing in almost every episode.

Q: We've seen you on NBC LX, but this show will syndicated digitally. Where can we watch, and how amazing is it to have a show geared toward the mainstream digital space?

My segment will still air on Tuesdays on NBCLX's Current, but this new talk show is an extended version of the segment. As for the show being digital exclusive, I have always believed online and streaming content is a way to get the most viewers, because think about it.... anyone in the world can watch you! I started a YouTube show when I was 15... that was 11 years ago and since then, my channel has over 250 million impressions. So, I am very excited that NECN is stepping into the world of digital content.

Q: Reality TV is all the rage right now. Any particular shows you've been loving lately?

I watch almost every Bravo TV show, but I love that I can binge-watch everything I love on NBCUniversal's new streaming service, Peacock.

Q: Who's a dream reality star you'd love to interview?

This is easy! The Kardashians. But if I had to pick... Kris Jenner, because I find it fascinating what she has created with her family.

RealiTea With Derek Z launches Tuesday, March 30th, and will stream LIVE with digital syndication every Tuesday at 1:30PM on Roku and Apple TV.
