Naomi Campbell is sharing a glimpse into her life as a new mom.
The model is photographed for the first time with her 9-month-old daughter for the cover of British Vogue's March issue, where she opens up about her little girl and why she's loving motherhood.
Campbell announced back in May that she welcomed her first baby, sharing a few details about her daughter at the time.
"She wasn't adopted – she's my child," the model tells British Vogue, adding that not many people knew she was going to become a mom at the time.
"I can count on one hand the number of people who knew that I was having her," she shares. "But she is the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It's the best thing I've ever done."
Though very few people knew about her parenting plans, Campbell says she "always knew that one day I would be a mother."
She continues, "... it's the biggest joy I could ever imagine. I'm lucky to have her, and I know that," later answering "why not?" to the idea of adding more kids to her family.
She adds, "Everything I do, I do for her – that's it. It's so completely selfless, isn't it?"
A 90s fashion legend, Campbell opened up about what it's like still walking the runway.
"I still enjoy it, but it's nerve-racking! Because I'm 51 years old walking with girls who are 18!"
"It's great to be with these young 'uns at my age, but I have to say, at one of the shows, I was like, 'Come on, girls! Pick up your feet! Why are you walking so slow?' I definitely feel like my time was more joyful. We got to show off our personalities."
She also shared that she misses the old modeling days and misses sharing the runway with her friends.
"Of course! It was more fun because you're with your girls," she explains, referring to Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford, and Christy Turlington.
The March 2022 issue of British Vogue is on newsstands on Tuesday 22 February.
