'Naomi' Makes History As The Latest Superhero On TV

'Naomi' Makes History As The Latest Superhero On TV | Celebrity Page
The popular character from the DC Universe has a brand new show.

Naomi is breaking boundaries.

The character is the first Black female superhero to have her own show, with powers superseding the most popular heroes!

"For everyone who doesn't know... Naomi is a very powerful superhero in the DC Universe... just as powerful as Superman. It's not your typical superhero show. It's a new forum. Ava Duvernay took this concept of Naomi and just brought it out of the stratosphere," Alexander Wraith said.

Alexander Wraith is no newcomer to the superhero genre, having already made a name for himself in Marvel's Agents of Shield.

The actor plays Dee, a tattoo artist who reluctantly becomes Naomi's mentor.

"It's written brilliant. It's not one tone. There's like four or five different things happening in every episode and that's what I love about it," Wraith said.

Naomi airs Tuesday nights on The CW.
