Motherland: Fort Salem winning over audiences with flipped gender roles, visual effects, and exciting plot twists. The show also focuses on female empowerment as the strong leads take on battles, violence and life-threatening events.
"I love the gender bending, I love the gender reversals, I believe these characters are going to become iconic. Motherland: Fort Salem is going to be one of those series that years from now people will go back and they will be like, 'whoa,'" Sheryl Lee Ralph said.
An upcoming battle in Fort Salem has fans speculating as to how the season two finale will end.
"I absolutely cannot tell you, but I can tell you it will be very unexpected. I don't think anybody is thinking this at all."
