Netflix also gave us a first look on Twitter, giving us more of an insight on the adventures and friendship the stars have:

"They come from the land of frozen foods and with the help of friendly new faces like the supermarket owner, Mrs. Obama, Waffles and Mochi blast off on global ingredient missions, traveling to kitchens, restaurants, farms and homes all over the world."

This show is a continuation of the kind of work she did as first lady.

The show will also partner with the Partnership for a Healthier America, a nonprofit organization that was originally created in conjunction with Michelle Obama's 2010 Let's Move initiative to help reduce childhood obesity.

The former first lady added on Twitter:

"I'm also excited to work with @PHAnews to help kids build healthy habits and help families in need cook with fresh ingredients together at home. I hope you'll join us by watching on March 16! #WafflesAndMochi"

Waffles + Mochi is the latest release from Higher Ground Productions, the Obamas' production company. Netflix and Higher Grounds Productions have a multi-year production deal, from which we can expect more upcoming projects from.
