NFL Legend and television personality Michael Strahan has tested positive for COVID-19, according to his Good Morning America co-stars.
According to his coworkers, who reported the news this morning, Strahan feels fine, and is following CDC guidelines by quarantining at home.
Everyone currently on the set of the popular daytime talk show has been cleared by Disney to be present following contact tracing and negative tests, in accordance with CDC guidelines.
Strahan first made a name for himself as a defensive end who spent his entire 15 year career with the New York Giants. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014, following a career that saw him retire as a Super Bowl champion, seven time Pro-Bowler, a member of the 100 sacks club, and the record for most sacks in a single season with 22.5.
Following his retirement, he joined FOX as a football analyst, and won two Emmys for his work on the morning talk show Live! With Kelly and Michael, alongside Kelly Ripa. Since 2016, he has been a full time contributor on Good Morning America.
All of us at Advocate Channel wish Strahan health and a speedy recovery!
