After Behar replied to a Valentine's Day tweet, McCain shot back.

Meghan McCain and Joy Behar celebrated Valentine's Day with a Twitter argument.

In honor of Valentine's Day, former co-host of the View, Meghan McCain, tweeted a tribute to her husband.

It read,

“Happy Valentines Day @bdomenech – I love you and am grateful every day for the life we have together.”

In typical Twitter fashion, many users had something to say over the innocuous post, with one profile commenting,

“Does every thought and sentiment need to be on Twitter?”

Joy Behar then decided to get involved with a dig at McCain. She replied to the account in a now deleted tweet that read, "Apparently."

McCain was quick to shoot back, screenshotting the exchange and posting it with the caption,

"Imagine spending your Valentine's Day trolling your ex colleagues tweet about her husband."

To lighten the mood, Fox News weather reporter Janice Dean tweeted a joke in response, saying Behar "can't quit [McCain]". However, McCain did not find Behar's antics amusing, responding to Dean,

“It’s pathetic and it creeps me out.”

She then went on to say that leaving The View is “like having ex’s who won’t stop drunk texting you.”

McCain left the View in July to spend time with her family and move to DC. She slams Behar for her one word tweet, but some fans are calling that move hypocritical, seeing as much of McCain's career post the View has been centered around, well, The View.

In her audio memoir, McCain discussed Behar and fellow co-host, Whoopi Goldberg, at lengths. She felt "bashed" for her conservative views, which include support of anti-mask and anti-vaccine policies, and anti-Chinese racism. Despite the issues McCain has drudged up, she left the View on amicable terms, calling her colleagues "the most talented women on television".
