Meghan Markle Makes Surprise Appearance On 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'

Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle is officially debuting as a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which is currently on the last season after 19 years.

Today, Thursday November 18th, Meghan Markle will appear on The Ellen Show. From an exclusive sneak peek, the Duchess of Sussex opened up about past times when she used to go to auditions as an actress on the same Warner Bros. lot.

"The security guards would always say 'Break a leg! We hope you get it!' So the drive in today was very different."

Ellen then asked her if the security guards knew her by that point, but Markle said:

"I think they probably said it to everybody. That's how nice they were."

And the car that she used to drive at the time was an old Ford Explorer Sport that had a "life of its own." But the key wasn't working on the driver's side, so Markle figured out an alternative way to get in.

"I would open the trunk and climb in and pull it shut behind me and crawl over all my seats to get out."

This is the first time that Markle appears on a daytime talk show since she married Prince Harry and, from the sneak peek, she appeared very relaxed and at ease with the famous host.

But this is not the first time that Ellen shows her love for Markle.

Back in 2019, Ellen had showed her support for the couple through an Instagram post. They had recently been talking about their work on wildlife conservation.

"They were the most down-to-earth, compassionate people."

She had also defended them, after they had been severely attacked for owning a private jet.

"Imagine being attacked for everything you do, when all you're trying to do is make the world better."

If you're curious about Markle's interview, don't miss The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
