Real. Hot. Girl. Shit. Megan Thee Stallion becomes the first female rapper to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
The Texas musician is joined by Tennis sensation Naomi Osaka, and actress Leyna Bloom as alternate Swimsuit Issue covers for 2021. Bloom will be the first transgender model to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. This issue will also include artists Tinashe and Anitta.
Megan is just the second musician to cover the news magazine after Beyonce's iconic photoshoot in 2007.
She shared the news on Monday in an Instagram post, with the caption: "Thee first female rapper on the cover of @si_swimsuit. I want to thank all the strong women in my life who inspired me to love my body and live my best hot girl life. It means the world to me to be on this cover DREAM COME TRUE!!"
The 2021 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue will be on newsstands on Thursday, July 22.
