Megan Fox has a powerful message for a conservatives coming after how her kids dress.

Last week, failed Republican politician Robby Starbuck of Tennessee unpromptedly targeted Fox on his Twitter account, posting a picture of the actor and her three sons. The conservative figure openly mocked fox's family, and spread vicious, unfounded rumors that falsely accused Fox of "child abuse" -- all because Fox's sons were wearing "feminine" clothing.

"These are Megan Fox’s sons," Starbuck wrote. "We used to live in the same gated community and our kids played at the park. I saw 2 of them have a full on breakdown saying they were forced by their mom to wear girls clothes as their nanny tried to console them. It’s pure child abuse. Pray for them."

Fox shares three children — Noah, 10, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 6 — with her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green. Both Green and Fox were quick to hit back against Starbuck's unsubstantial claims, with Fox personally penning a message to him on her Instagram account.

"i really don’t want to give you this attention because clearly you're a clout chaser but let me teach you something..." she wrote. "irregardless of how desperate you may become at any given time to acquire wealth, power, success, or fame — never use children as leverage or social currency. especially under malevolent and erroneous pretense."

Fox added that "exploiting my child’s gender identity to gain attention in your political campaign has put you on the wrong side of the universe."

In a statement to TMZshortly after Starbuck's post, Green particularly pushed back against the idea that his children were being "forced" to wear clothes they didn't want to wear. Fox has been open about raising their children "gender neutral," letting them decide their toys and styles for themselves.

"It’s a totally bogus story. There are only a few people in their world that can actually verify wether [sic] or not a story like this is true and I can tell you with absolute certainty it is not," Green said. "This person trying to claim this is true is a perfect example of someone with selfish motives that does not care about negatively affecting a parent child relationship."

Fox concluded her message to Starbuck with a warning: "i have been burned at the stake by insecure, narcissistic, impotent, little men like you many times and yet i’m still here. you f****d with the wrong witch."
