Matt LeBlanc's and Top Gear producer Aurora Mulligan's six-year relationship came to a mutual end in 2020, long before their breakup was publicly announced.
An insider confirmed that they both kept their breakup low-key without letting it land in the limelight. The source said,
"They haven't been together in over a year."
The former Friends star, 54, worked with television producer Mulligan, 37, on the long-running BBC show, Top Gear, after he was drafted to revive its ailing fortunes in 2016, before walking away three years later.
The couple was first linked after LeBlanc became the BBC show's first non-UK host in 2016.
"He and Aurora fell for each on Top Gear, and although there was a pretty big age gap, they were a great match," the insider continued revealing.
"But when he announced he was leaving Top Gear and took on other work, it was hard for them. He's mainly based out of LA and was traveling a lot while Aurora was working in the UK," it added.
The pair first ignited romance rumors in May 2016 when they hit Hickstead Derby in West Sussex. They also arrived at the New York film festival 2017 red carpet. They went public with their relationship during an appearance at the UK launch of the 25th installment of the well-known show in 2018.
