Twelve seasons in and Married At First Sight is now pairing up couples in the middle of the pandemic!
Imagine meeting someone for the first time… at the altar!
Married At First Sight is heading south to watch ten singles say "I do!"
Advocate Channel Social Producer Ricky Cornish spoke with season twelve contestant, Briana, and love expert, Dr. Viviana Coles, on the new season.
"Marrying someone you don't know at all, and then through a pandemic... you literally have to put everything out there. You can't leave anything out, because this is your fate! This is the person you're going to be matched with forever," Briana said.
For its twelfth season, the show recruited a team of love experts down in Atlanta to play cupid and try to perfectly match the strangers.
"First and foremost, I always have to remind myself... just because it's not my cup of tea, doesn't mean it's not the perfect cup of tea for someone else. I need to make sure that I find that right person for them. This is lifelong, we're hoping for forever," Dr. Coles said.
We'll be watching the couples tie the knot on Married At First Sight Wednesday, January 13th, on Lifetime.
