It's official, British musician Mark Ronson is going to be legendary actress Meryl Streep's son-in-law! The seven-time Grammy award winning artist confirmed his engagement to Grace Gummer on his The FADER Uncovered podcast.
After months of speculation regarding the status of their relationship, Mark Ronson clears the air revealing on his podcast he "got engaged last weekend." The couple sparked rumors of their engagement when Gummer was photographed wearing a diamond ring on her left hand in late May.
Both Ronson and Gummer had been previously married before they began dating in 2020, first being spotted together on a dinner date in New York in September. Ronson was previously engaged to actress Rashida Jones in 2003 and also married to French actress Josephine de La Baume from 2011 to 2017. As for Gummer, she previously tied-the-knot with musician Tay Strathairn for a mere 42 days, finalizing her divorce in August 2020.
It isn't clear how Gummer(35) and Ronson(45) met, however they both attended Vassar College and have found much success in the entertainment industry. Ronson is responsible for the creation of smash hits like "Uptown Funk" with Bruno Mars, "Valerie" with Amy Winehouse, and he even brought home an Oscar for co-writing "Shallow" with Lady Gaga for A Star is Born.
Gummer followed the footsteps of her iconic mother as an actress, with appearances in Smash, Mr. Robot, American Horror Story, and more.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
