"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" has officially confirmed Maria Bakalova will have a key role in the upcoming Marvel film.
Like many Marvel films, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" has remained extremely secretive, awaiting the premiere to share its big reveals.
In fact, filmmaker James Gunn, known for the previous two "Guardians" movies, in addition to "The Suicide Squad" (2021), has said in his instagram post that he could not post a photo of Zoe Saldaña because the picture included “an unannounced actor.”
Gunn and Bakalova both proclaimed their support for each other after the announcement.
Gunn wrote,
"Love @mariabakalovaofficial so much and she's become a real part of the family."
Bakalova will be seen alongside Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldaña, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, and Pom Klementieff, as they return to their roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The film will showcase Will Poulter as the main antagonist, playing Marvel Comic’s Adam Warlock. The character played by Maria Bakalova has yet to be revealed, as well as the roles of Chukwudi Iwuji and Daniela Melchior, who’s appearances have also been recently released.
"Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3" is expected to be released on May 5, 2023.
