Netflix released the trailer for their documentary-style dating show Love on the Spectrum, where young people on the autism spectrum navigate the world of love and relationships.

Love on the Spectrum follows a group of individuals taking their first steps into dating with help from their friends and family as well as experts. The trailer promises laughs, triumphs and definitely tribulations along the way. Each story, whether successful or not, can provide inspiration for other singles on the spectrum looking for love.

Director Cian O'Cleary spoke about his hopes for the show in a statement by saying:

""As a storyteller I felt we had an opportunity to explore this issue by shining a light on the struggles many people on the spectrum face in seeking out meaningful relationships. hope this series will start conversations, help bring about understanding and acceptance, and ultimately inspire people with autism, their families and society at large to find ways to help people on the spectrum find love."

Love on the Spectrum premieres on Netflix on July 22nd.
