Aladdin Live-Action Remake is Not Disappointing!
Everyone knows the classic Disney tale of Aladdin and its wonderful and inspirational story. Now, a live-action remake is here starring Will Smith as the Genie, Mena Massoud as Aladdin, and Namoi Scott as Jasmine.
Aladdin may find himself unknown and lost in the streets of Agrabah unsure of himself and his purpose, but after this live-action remake he is anything but that. The cast on a massive global press tour having screenings in Jordan, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France.
"We're going on 5 hours of sleep every night but it's good, it's good," Mena says.

The stars were ecstatic to remake the classic Aladdin is, but it was little intimidating for some of the stars to try and recreate these classic characters while also putting their own spin onto it.
“She is so iconic, she’s so empowering, and I just wanted to humanize her and just do some tweaks for 2019," Naomi says about playing Jasmine.
Being directed by Guy Ritchie came as a surprise to many people since his approach to filmmaking is a little edgier than Disney's.
“I was surprised at how brave Disney was with that choice. I was encouraged by that in terms of pushing the envelope of trying to have it be fun and beautiful and nostalgic int he Disney sense, but also try to find places where it can be hot, where it can be interesting, where it can be current," Will says.
Will Smith as the Genie
Will Smith being the Genie is definitely something we never knew we needed until we got it. His cast has been very candid about Will's performance abilities and know that this movie would not be good without him.
“Will can deliver something that a performance I don’t think anyone else could. It’s not atypical Will, it’s Will’s interpretation of a genie which is somehow related to old Will, but really Will is this kind of cornucopia of creativity," Guy says.
Being the Genie is a very complex and dynamic character. Luckily for Will, he has had plenty of experience that has allowed him to master the Genie.
“Singing, dancing, acting, rapping, drama, comedy, romance, like everything. There’s so many elements in this movie. The challenge that I cultivated over 30 years of performing I was able to use everything in this movie," Will says.
