Emma Corrin

The Crown's Emma Corrin came out in style on Instagram, wearing a Miu Miu wedding dress with the following caption:

"ur fave queer bride."

Corrin has earned various successes lately, including a prestigious Emmy Award for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Princess Diana. Corrin's coming out reminds us all that knowing ourselves is a lifelong journey.

Tommy Dorfman

Star of 13 Reasons Why, Tommy Dorfman, came out as a transgender woman in July during an interview with Time magazine. In the interview she said:

"Coming out is always viewed as this grand reveal, but I was never not out. Today is about clarity: I am a trans woman."

Before the interview, Dorfman hadn't publicly come out, but she had already done so in her private life.

Laganja Estranja

RuPaul's Drag Race star Laganja Estranja came out as a transgender woman in June of this year, during an interview with Entertainment Weekly. Her position on the matter was very clear:

"I am not going to live my life in fear anymore."

Estranja's coming out reminds us that we need to thank those who have paved the way for us to live more freely. In the interview, she said she was "nervous, but not scared."

Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato had always been vocal about her support for the LGBTQ+ community.

In May, the singer came out as non-binary, changing the pronouns to they/them. In a video shared on Twitter, Lovato said that fans have been able to follow their journey since the beginning of their career.

"I feel that this best represents the fluidity I feel in my gender expression and allows me to feel most authentic and true to the person I both know I am and still am discovering."

Carl Nassib

Carl Nassib made history this year by being the first NFL player to come out publicly. On a video posted on Instagram, Nassib shared the news with everybody:

"I just wanted to take a quick moment to say that I'm gay. I've been meaning to do this for a while now, but I finally feel comfortable enough to get it off my chest."

TJ Osborne

Alongside Nassib, TJ Osborne has made history as well, being the first openly gay man signed to a country label. Since his coming out, Osborne has shared a song that speaks to his younger self. The caption from the Instagram post reads:

"I've always wished I could speak to my younger self, give him a hug and show him who he'd become and what he'd achieve."

Everyone would want to speak to the inner child that is in us -- Osborne has done it through his own art: making music.

Luke Prokop

Luke Prokop came out as gay in July, making him the first gay active player in the NHL. In a heartfelt Twitter post, Prokop shared that he's no longer scared to hide who he is.

"I may be new to the community, but I am eager to learn about the strong and resilient people who came before me and paved the way so I could be more comfortable today."

Prokop also thanked his family and friends, who have been incredibly supportive of his journey.

Ronen Rubinstein

Actor Ronen Rubinstein plays T.K. Strand, a gay character in the FOX's series 911. He officially came out as bisexual in April during an interview with Variety:

"I was definitely more aware of it in high school. I was aware of my feelings and how I started looking at men, but I couldn't talk to anybody about it."

JoJo Siwa

JoJo Siwa was one of the first celebrities to come out this year in January.

Speculations about her sexuality started when Siwa shared a TikTok dance to Lady Gaga's "Born This Way." The singer clarified any doubts posting a shirt her cousin gave her that read:

"Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever."

Fans on Twitter have been incredibly supportive and Siwa is currently participating in Dancing with the Stars. She's the first contestant to dance with a person of the same sex.

Colton Underwood

Finally, The Bachelor's Colton Underwood came out on ABC's Good Morning America in April.

In the interview, he had shared that his Catholic upbringing had created a shame spiral for his sexuality. In an Instagram post, he thanked those who had been by his side no matter what.

"To the people in my corner, I love you. Without you Iwouldn't be here."

Thanks to these brave celebrities, we're all reminded that it's never too late to fully love and embrace the human beings we are.
