Good news, Office fans! Jim Halpert and Michael Scott are reuniting on the big screen... well, kind of.
Steve Carell has just joined the cast of John Krasinski's upcoming film If. According to Deadline, the movie, "about a child's journey to rediscover their imagination," will be written, produced, and directed by Krasinski.
Krasinski will also star in the movie alongside his former The Office boss Steve Carell. The star-studded cast includes Ryan Reynolds, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr., Fiona Shaw, Cailey Fleming, and Alan Kim.
Krasinski teased the news on Instagram Tuesday, with a picture collage of the cast and the caption,
"Ah, what if one day I could assemble my dream cast? What... IF"
Fans were clearly excited and intrigued about the upcoming project.
One user commented,

Krasinki will produce the film through his company Sunday Night Productions and will be joined by Ryan Reynolds, who is set to co-produce through his production company Maximum Effort.
While most other details about the film are being kept quiet for now, according to Deadline If is set to premier on November 17, 2023.
